“The Qur’anic Blueprint of a True Believer: Muslim, Momin, Muttaqi”
A Simple Model-Easy to Remember: - Muslim is Identity; - Momin is Inner Faith; - Muttaqi is Conscious Living. However, the Qur’an is not asking you to be perfect. It is asking you to be: - Sincere; - Consistent; - Self-aware.
Islam began in the 7th century in the Arabian Peninsula, when the Prophet Muhammad (S) received divine revelations that were later compiled into the Quran. These revelations called people away from tribal divisions and idol worship toward belief in one Allah, moral accountability, and social justice. From its origin in Mecca and later establishment in Medina, Islam grew into a way of life that shaped not only spiritual practices but also law, ethics, and community relations. In essence, Islam means “submission” to the will of Allah, and a Muslim is one who consciously submits through faith, righteous actions, and good character, seeking to live with sincerity, discipline, and awareness of divine guidance in every aspect of life.
Understanding Islam through the Qur’anic lens means focusing less on labels and more on inner transformation, character, and conscious living. The Qur’an does not just define a Muslim by identity, but by belief, actions, and character.
However, the subject matter may divided into three parts clearly as under:

A Muslim from submission is someone who:
– Submits sincerely to Quranic guidance;

– Lives with obedience in daily life, not just rituals.
The Qur’anic essence are: “Whoever submits himself to Allah and does good, he will have his reward…” (2:112). So, Islam equal to Faith plus Submission, do Good Deeds.

Definition of Taqwa is “Constant awareness of Allah that controls your decisions, even when no one is watching.”
Qur’an starts with this verse, “This Book is guidance for the Muttaqeen…” (2:2)
